Terrazzo is not a surface , it is a composition. Marble chips, mineral aggregate, and binding compound compressed into a material whose depth and individuality no single-pour finish can approximate. The Aggregate brings that compositional logic into pendant form: terrazzo and iron column construction whose geological surface gives hotels, restaurants, and dining areas an overhead presence built from material accumulation rather than decorative application.
The terrazzo body carries aggregate distribution that shifts across its column form , mineral chips of varying size and tone catching ambient light at different angles simultaneously, the surface reading as unified tonal mass from across the room and intricate material composition at proximity. Iron hardware frames structural points with fabrication precision, its finish anchoring the terrazzo's organic aggregate character with industrial conviction.
Activated overhead, light projects downward from the column base in a focused directional wash , restaurant tables and dining surfaces receiving task-precise illumination while the terrazzo column reads as a sculptural geological object from every viewing angle above.
