The Floating Ovals takes its name from the four black oval discs that appear to hover at staggered heights along the three gold vertical rods, a composition that gives this wall clock a sculptural, three-dimensional wall presence distinct from all flat-panel clocks in the collection. The piece suits living rooms, hotel lobbies, drawing rooms, dining areas, and office receptions where a large statement wall object is required.

The three vertical rods are gold-toned metal, running parallel from the topmost oval to the base oval and connecting all four discs at staggered intervals. The topmost oval carries the numeral 12 in white, the middle clock-face oval carries the numerals 9 and 3 with a white horizontal dash at the 12 position and multi-spoke gold hands at centre, and the two lower ovals carry the numeral 6 and function as visual anchors for the vertical composition.
