The Marble Ledge takes its name from the circular marble shelf that projects from the gold iron stem at mid-height, providing a resting surface for objects within reach of a seated position, while the stem arcs at its upper reach to carry a cream pleated fabric empire shade, functioning as a room light lamp with practical surface utility built directly into the floor lamp form. It suits drawing rooms, living rooms, study rooms, hotels, and offices where a floor-standing light is expected to serve both ambient and incidental surface needs.

The stem is fabricated from iron with a brushed gold finish, rising from a substantial circular marble base that anchors the lamp with natural weight and veined white surface detail.
