The Mellow Dome takes its name from the rounded glass body that holds light internally before releasing it as a diffused, room-filling glow. In a study, bedroom, hotel room, or office, the lamp operates as both light source and quiet object, its glass volume shifting between transparency and soft luminosity as the room's ambient light changes.

The glass body carries subtle surface lobing across its lower hemisphere, introducing tonal variation across the form without interrupting the dome profile. The cylindrical metal base is available in brushed gold and brushed copper, each paired to its corresponding glass variant. The disc cap at the crown mirrors the base finish, completing the metal hardware relationship with symmetry.
