Description

The Orb Carrier takes its name from the central act it depicts: a tall, elongated black figure leaning forward from an upright stance with both arms curved inward and open hands gathering a cluster of five frosted white globes at chest height, the figure's head bowed low over the gathered light as though in an act of presentation, functioning as a room light lamp with the concentrated output of five globes held as a single luminous mass. It suits drawing rooms, living rooms, study rooms, and hotels where a floor lamp is required to carry the presence of a major figurative work.

The figure is finished in black throughout, with an attenuated body, elongated limbs, and articulated hand detail.
