The Sun Strip takes its name from the tall vertical white acrylic strip and the circular disc mounted at its centre, a composition that references a sun rising behind a column of light and gives this wall clock its primary visual identity. The piece suits living rooms, dining areas, office interiors, and children's rooms where a backlit wall object combining timekeeping and ambient light is required.
The vertical strip is a tall narrow white acrylic panel carrying the numerals 12 and 6 in black at the top and base. A separate white acrylic disc crosses the strip at mid-height, with a gold acrylic centre circle and dark walnut-toned wooden hands at its centre. Radial baton minute markers are etched into the disc surface. An LED backlight is integrated within both the disc and strip, activating as a warm ambient light source independently of the timekeeping function.
The LED backlight produces a warm yellow glow through the white acrylic disc and strip simultaneously. As a designer clock placed in a living room or dining area, the backlit composition creates a soft wall light effect after dark, making the piece as functional as a gentle ambient light source as it is as a timepiece.
