Description

The Tulip Post takes its name from the cast tulip-shaped base that supports the lantern body, a form that gives this gate light lamp an immediately recognisable profile among all gate lanterns in the collection. The tall, columnar proportion and distinctive base suit outdoor gate posts, garden pillar tops, hotel entrance installations, and office boundary placements.

The frame is constructed in metal with a dark near-black brown finish across the full structure. Four vertical corner posts rise from an octagonal mid-collar to support a wide square cap with chamfered edges. The glass element is a single continuous ribbed cylindrical tube that sits within the four corner posts rather than flat panels filling individual bays. The finial is a smooth sphere seated on a short neck at the cap centre, distinct from the turned or pointed finials of all sibling lanterns. The tulip base flares outward from a narrow neck into a wide circular foot with cast foliate detailing across its surface.

Light diffuses through the ribbed cylindrical glass tube from within, producing a soft vertically striated glow that wraps fully around the circumference of the cylinder. This led gate light design delivers a continuous 360-degree output from the cylindrical glass body, suited to gate post marking and garden pillar installations where omnidirectional illumination at post height is required.
