Rigid and flexible rarely share the same fixture with conviction. The Vortex makes that tension its defining characteristic: metal and soft strap construction wound into a swirl form that commands drawing rooms and dining areas through geometric confidence rather than decorative intent.
The soft strap introduces material warmth that bare metal cannot achieve alone , its texture catching ambient light differently across its surface, creating subtle tonal variation that shifts between matte and sheen depending on viewing angle. Metal components provide structural precision, anchoring the strap's organic movement within a resolved geometric form.
Light floods the interior in a directed downward wash , the swirl construction casting fine shadow patterns across dining surfaces and drawing room walls that flat-shade pendants never produce. Form as spatial event.
