Care & maintenance

To keep your Galactic Warm White Indoor Wall Night Lamp (B904) looking its best, regularly dust the fixture with a soft, dry cloth to prevent dust buildup. For deeper cleaning, ensure the lamp is turned off and cool, then gently wipe the metal and acrylic surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap, avoiding harsh chemicals that could damage the finish. Check the LED system periodically to ensure it is functioning properly. With minimal maintenance, this elegant wall light will continue to enhance your space beautifully for years to come, providing both comfort and style in your home or commercial environment.

Does the fitting require two separate wall fixing points at the top and bottom of the bar?The bar mounts to the wall via two fixing collars visible at the upper and lower ends of the rod. Both points require secure wall fixings, and a qualified electrician should complete installation to confirm wall type suitability.
Can the brass disc and opal globes be controlled on separate circuits for dimming flexibility? The fitting operates as a single circuit unit in its standard configuration. Separate circuit control would require an electrician to assess the wiring during installation and is not a factory-configured option.
Will the matte black bar disappear against a white or light-coloured passage or living room wall? The matte black bar reads as a deliberate graphic line against pale wall surfaces rather than disappearing entirely. Its visual presence strengthens the fitting's compositional impact on neutral and white wall schemes.
Does the brass disc face produce glare at eye level in a passage or bedroom context? The brushed brass disc reflects ambient light diffusely across its convex surface rather than producing a directed glare point. At standard wall mounting height the disc's reflection is broadly dispersed and does not create focused eye-level glare.
Did you know that wall-mounted lights can save space? The orrery, a mechanical model of the solar system showing the relative positions and orbital paths of planets around a central sphere, was first constructed in England in the early eighteenth century and named after Charles Boyle, the Earl of Orrery, who commissioned one of the earliest examples. These instruments translated the abstract geometry of planetary orbits into a physical vertical and horizontal arrangement of spheres at varying distances from a central mass, establishing the visual language of a large central orb flanked by smaller bodies at measured intervals that has informed decorative and architectural composition ever since.

The Orbital Rod takes its name from the vertical black iron bar that holds its three light-emitting elements in a fixed orbital arrangement, a large brushed brass disc at centre flanked by two smaller frosted opal globes positioned symmetrically above and below along the bar's length. In a drawing room, living room, office, bedroom, hotel, or passage, this fitting reads as a wall-mounted graphic composition whose tall vertical format activates the wall plane from floor to near-ceiling height.

The black iron bar carries a matte finish that recedes against the wall surface, allowing the brass disc and opal globes to hold full visual attention without a competing frame. The brushed brass disc reflects warm ambient light across its convex face, its surface texture producing a soft tonal variation that prevents it from reading as flat. The two frosted opal globes emit soft omnidirectional light at their respective positions along the bar, their white diffusing surfaces creating a cool-warm contrast against the brass disc between them.

Through the two frosted globes, light radiates at two distinct vertical levels, washing the wall surface above and below the brass disc with soft ambient light while the disc itself reflects the room's warmth back outward. The combined output fills the wall zone with a layered three-element presence suited to passage, living room feature wall, and hotel corridor installation.
