Is Amber Kalasha suitable for a pooja room?Yes. Its temple-inspired outline and amber glow suit a pooja room, provided the ceiling gives its 1050mm length room to hang clear.
Will the amber glass make the light dim?The amber tint softens the output, so it gives atmosphere rather than task light. Pair it with brighter lights for practical needs.
Does it suit a double-height space?Yes. Its length suits double-height halls and stairwells, where a shorter pendant would look lost in the volume.
Is there a shorter version?Amber Tassel uses the same gold and amber finish at 610mm tall, with a single amber disc and a faceted drop.
Did You Know Fact About The CategoryOn many Hindu temples, the tower over the inner sanctum ends in a kalasha, a metal finial shaped like stacked pots. The form comes from the ritual kalasha vessel, filled with water and topped with mango leaves and a coconut as a sign of abundance. Temple kalashas are usually made of copper or brass, and many are gilded so they catch the sun above the town.

A statement piece for contemporary and traditional rooms alike, built from materials chosen to last.

Amber Kalasha takes its name from the stacked metal finials that crown Indian temple towers: turned gold sections rise in tiers, broken by two swollen discs of amber glass. This designer pendant light suits a staircase, a double-height living room, a hotel lobby or a pooja room.

Gold-finish metal forms each turned section, from the slim finial at the top to the tapered point at the base. Between them sit two wide amber glass discs with a spiral twist in the glass, and smaller faceted amber collars. This amber glass pendant measures 200mm across and 1050mm in fitted height.

Built-in LED lighting glows through the amber glass, deepening its tone and drawing out the spiral pattern. Hung through a stairwell or above a landing, it works as a staircase pendant light that reads from every floor.
