Care & maintenance

Power off and wait for the bulb to cool. Wipe the matt white surfaces with a dry, soft cloth, as damp cloths can leave marks on a matt finish. Clean the amber brim, smoked collar and frosted cylinder with a lightly damp cloth and dry immediately.

Can Bonnet be used in a bathroom? It suits vanity walls away from direct splashes. Please confirm the IP rating with our team before installing it in a bathroom.
Can I see the bulb from below? No. The frosted cylinder fully surrounds the bulb, so the light reads as an even glow from any angle.
What does the amber brim do when the light is on?It catches light from the cylinder below and glows along its edge, adding a ring of colour around the fitting.
Which materials pair well with Bonnet? Its matt white, amber and gold sit naturally with travertine, oak, cream plaster and brushed brass taps.
Did You Know Fact About The CategoryOpaline glass, made milky white by adding compounds such as bone ash or tin oxide to the glass batch, became highly fashionable in France in the early 1800s. Makers prized it for vases and lamp parts because it diffuses light evenly, hiding the bright point of the flame or bulb behind a soft, uniform glow.

A statement piece for contemporary and traditional rooms alike, built from materials chosen to last.

Bonnet takes its name from the amber glass brim that circles its white body, set like the broad rim of a summer bonnet. Compact at 350mm tall, it suits bathroom vanities, bedsides, powder rooms and reading nooks, singly or as a pair either side of a mirror.

A fluted, smoke-tinted glass collar crowns the fitting below the gold-finish ceiling rod. Beneath it sit a ribbed oval and a fluted bell, both in matt white, divided by the textured amber glass brim. A frosted glass cylinder extends below the bell and encloses one E14 bulb, not included.

Light glows evenly through the frosted cylinder, with no bare bulb in view, while the amber brim picks up a warm edge just above it. Beside a mirror over a stone basin, it gives soft, even light at face height.
