But trust us, the real magic happens when you've got 20+ feet of height - in malls, banquet halls and hotel atriums, the thing really comes alive and fills the vertical space with presence and light. And don't worry, we can configure the drop length to suit your specific installation needs.
How heavy is this thing, and do I need to reinforce my ceiling to hang it?Even though it's got a real presence, don't worry about the weight - we've engineered the stainless steel and crystal just right to keep things balanced. The steel is strong yet lightweight, and the crystal is positioned to make sure the whole thing stays level. We ship it with heavy-duty ceiling mounts that are rated for really big installations in duplex homes, banquet halls and commercial spaces - and yes, we recommend getting a pro to install it for anything above 15 feet.
