What colour is the glow from the bronze shade? The shade itself glows a copper tone when lit, while light falling below reads closer to the LED's own colour. Please confirm the colour temperature with our team.
Can Ember Spindle replace a bedside lamp?Yes. Hung beside the bed with the shade around shoulder height when seated, it lights the area and leaves the nightstand clear.
Is the cable length adjustable? Please confirm the cable length and adjustment options with our team before ordering, particularly for very tall or sloped ceilings.
Will the faceted glass discs cast patterns on the wall? The discs sit away from the main light source, so they pick up reflections and sparkle rather than throwing strong patterns.
Did You Know Fact About The CategoryThe spindle gave its name to a whole family of shapes. Hand spinners twisted fibre onto a weighted wooden stick called a spindle, and its swelling, tapering profile, which helped it turn evenly, was later copied by furniture makers for chair backs and stair balusters. That is why the turned uprights of a staircase rail are still called spindles today.

No. 4 · The finishBlack + Translucent Bronze
A statement piece for contemporary and traditional rooms alike, built from materials chosen to last.
Ember Spindle takes its name from its translucent bronze shade, which glows like a banked coal against a long black spindle once the light is switched on. The stacked, turned silhouette makes a strong vertical accent beside a bed, in a narrow hall, over a console or in a hotel suite.
Its body is metal in a black finish, built up from tiered collars and swelling bulbs that taper to a point below. Three faceted glass discs break the dark profile, and the bronze-tinted glass shade is folded into fine vertical pleats that flare wide at the centre.
Two built-in 7W LEDs light the shade from within, sending a soft wash downward while the bronze glass colours the glow around it. Hung as a bedside pendant against timber panelling, it frees the nightstand and lights a reading corner.
