What makes Forged Legacy different from other iron chandeliers out there?Well, the manufacturing process is pretty much the key here. Forged Legacy is made the old-fashioned way : heated up, hammered into shape by hand, rather than being cast or stamped out on a machine. That gives it this really distinctive texture and these organic curves that just can't be replicated by a machine. Plus each piece is going to be a little bit different - that's just the way it goes when you're making something by hand.
Does the aged finish require special maintenance, or is it just gonna keep getting darker?The finish is sealed so it doesn't get all cruddy or oxidise too fast, but yeah, the natural patina is just part of the look - it's what makes it a vintage chandelier in the first place. Just wipe it down with a soft cloth every now and then to keep it looking good, and for god's sake don't go reaching for some fancy chemical cleaner - that'll just strip the whole thing back to bare metal.
