Does Glass Garland need two fixing points in the ceiling?Yes. Each end of the strand drops from its own ceiling cup, roughly 500mm apart, so plan both positions before installation.
Will the strand swing?It hangs freely between the two rods, so a strong draught may move it slightly. It settles back into its U shape on its own.
Is it bright enough to read by?A single G9 bulb gives soft, local light for a bedside or corner. For reading, choose a brighter G9 bulb within the wattage we confirm.
Can the strand be shortened?The beaded strand is a fixed length. If you need a different drop for your ceiling height, please check with us before ordering.

Glass Garland strings ribbed glass beads into a deep U between two ceiling rods, with a single opal globe hanging at its lowest point like the pendant of a necklace. This statement pendant light suits a bedside, a living room corner, a hotel suite or a dining nook.
Two short gold-finish metal rods drop from round ceiling cups. Between them the strand alternates pink and soft blue ribbed glass with small gold beads, meeting in a gold collar that holds the globe. This glass bead light is 500mm wide, 150mm deep and 890mm in fitted height.
One G9 bulb sits inside the opal globe, so the light gathers in a single soft point at the base while the beads above catch it at their edges. Hung low beside a bed, it works as a bedside pendant light and frees the side table.
