Can two Lapis Spire pendants hang at different heights?Yes. Staggering two drops by 15 to 20cm over a table adds movement; please confirm cable adjustment options with our team.
Does the blue shade make a room feel cold? The blue mainly colours the glass itself. The clearer rim lets brighter light through, so the table below stays well lit.
What kind of interior suits the blue best?It pairs well with terracotta, natural timber and blue-and-white tiles, and gives a neutral kitchen a single strong accent.
Is the pale oval at the top glass or ceramic? All the coloured elements are glass, threaded on a metal rod and separated by gold-finish metal collars.
Did You Know Fact About The CategoryLapis lazuli was ground to make ultramarine, the most costly blue pigment in Renaissance Europe. The stone came almost entirely from mines in Badakhshan, in present-day Afghanistan, and the finished pigment could cost more than gold by weight, so painters often reserved it for the robes of the Virgin Mary. A cheaper synthetic version only appeared in the 1820s.

A statement piece for contemporary and traditional rooms alike, built from materials chosen to last.

Lapis Spire takes its name from the deep blue of its lower shade, the colour of lapis lazuli, crowned by a tapering stack of glass that rises like a spire. It suits farmhouse kitchens, dining tables, breakfast nooks and Mediterranean-style interiors, singly or in pairs.

A pale ribbed oval sits at the top, followed by two amber glass spheres either side of a clear, twisted glass diamond, all joined by gold-finish metal collars. The blue shade holds its strongest colour near the shoulder and clears towards the rim, with a crackle texture through the glass. It takes one E14 bulb, not included.

The blue glass cools the light passing through the body of the shade, while the clearer rim lets brighter light fall onto the table. Over a scrubbed timber table or against blue-and-white tiles, the shade becomes the strongest note of colour in the room.
