Will Meander work with a standard ceiling height?At 540mm overall, it sits comfortably over a table or island under most ceilings. In walkways, keep at least 2.1m of clearance beneath the shade.
Which bulb does Meander need?It takes a G4 bulb, which is not included. A low-wattage G4 LED keeps the glass cool; please confirm the maximum wattage with our team.
How many Meander pendants should I hang over a kitchen island?As a guide, two suit an island up to about 1.5m and three suit longer ones, spaced evenly at roughly 60 to 75cm between centres.
Can Meander be used with a dimmer?Dimming depends on the G4 bulb and driver you choose. Use a dimmable G4 LED with a compatible driver, and confirm compatibility with our team.
Did You Know Fact About The CategoryThe word meander comes from the Maeander, a river in western Anatolia now called the Büyük Menderes. Its course twists so persistently across its plain that ancient Greek writers used its name for any winding path, and the angular Greek key border found on temples and pottery came to share the same name.

Meander takes its name from the gentle S-curve of its gold stem, which bends between two glass beads before settling into a fluted shade, much as a river loops across open ground. This hanging light suits kitchen islands, dining tables, bedsides and hotel corridors, hung singly or in a row.
The stem is metal in a gold finish, with slim gold collars holding a clear glass sphere near the top and an amber-tinted glass teardrop above the shade. The shade is ribbed glass with a flared rim, seated on a gold ring. The fitting takes a G4 bulb, which is not included.
Light leaves through the open base of the shade and is scattered by its ribs, so the surface below receives a clear downward pool while the glass itself glows. Over a stone worktop or a dining table, this pendant light gives working light with a decorative edge.
