Can it hang over a dining table?Yes, that is where it looks most at home, as the photograph shows. Its 1200mm overall height means checking ceiling clearance first, then setting the drop so the flowers sit well above eye level when seated.
Are the ceramic flowers fragile?Ceramic is hard-wearing but can chip if knocked, so handle the flowers gently during fitting and cleaning. Lift dust rather than scrubbing, and avoid bending the metal leaves.
Which interiors does it suit?Warm neutrals, cream walls and natural wood tones bring out the gold and white palette. Because the form is so decorative, keep other fittings in the room plain so the bouquet stays the focus.
Is it a main light or a mood light? With twelve lamps it can light a dining area on its own, though the leaves filter part of the output, so the effect is atmospheric rather than bright. Add wall lights if the room needs more even coverage.
Did You Know Fact About The CategoryFloral chandeliers have a long history. In the 18th and 19th centuries, European porcelain makers such as Meissen produced chandeliers encrusted with modelled porcelain flowers, often mounted on gilt metal frames. Pairing bright metal with delicate ceramic blooms reflected the Rococo taste for treating lighting as sculpture as much as a source of light.

A statement piece for contemporary and traditional rooms alike, built from materials chosen to last.
White ceramic blooms scattered through a spray of gold leaves shape Petal Spray, a chandelier that reads like a bouquet caught mid-air. Hotels, Drawing Room corners, Dining Area tables, Living Room ceilings and the Bed Room all suit it.
Each flower head is formed in ceramic, carried on gold finished metal stems that fan out from a central core. At 750mm wide and 1200mm in overall height, it holds twelve G9 lamps among the foliage.
Once the lamps are on, light falls across the ceramic petals and bounces off the gilded leaves, and the foliage breaks it into a dappled pattern on the ceiling around the fitting.
