Is Sweet Shop suitable for a dressing area?Yes. Hung beside a mirror or above a vanity, it lights the area at face height without taking up any counter space.
Will the red shade tint the light in the room?Slightly. The coloured glass gives nearby light a rosy cast, while light from the clearer rim stays closer to the bulb's own colour.
How high should it hang above a dressing table?As a guide, keep the base of the shade 60 to 80cm above the tabletop so light falls on the surface and the glass stays in view.

Sweet Shop is named for the jar-lined shelves of an old confectioner, with a pink fluted oval, a clear twisted diamond, an amber bead and a red shade stacked like boiled sweets on a stick. It suits dressing tables, bedrooms, powder rooms and boutique interiors.
Each glass element is threaded on a central rod and separated by gold-finish metal spheres. The pink oval carries vertical ribs, the clear diamond is spun with a diagonal twist, and the amber sphere sits just above the shade. The red shade deepens at the shoulder and lightens to clear crackled glass at the rim. One E14 bulb fits inside, not included.
Light leaves through the red shade and its clearer rim, and the clear diamond above catches the reflection. Beside a mirror or over a marble vanity, the rosy cast carries into the glass and across the tabletop.
