Does it need a dimmer switch?It is described as three-in-one dimmable, so confirm the dimming method and compatible controls with your retailer before wiring.
Will the resin yellow over time?Some resins can yellow under prolonged strong sunlight, so avoid hanging it where direct sun falls on it for long periods. LED light itself emits very little UV.

Two long, slim light bars sit end to end beneath a gold ceiling rail in The Baton, each wrapped in textured resin that sparkles like cut glass. Shown over a kitchen island, it suits a Kitchen, a Dining Area, an Office, Restaurants and Hotels.
The body is aluminium in a gold finish with resin diffusers. It measures 1210mm long, 75mm wide and 1200mm in overall height, and its in-built LED is rated 96W x2 plus 30W, with three-in-one dimmable settings.
Lit, the resin diffusers spread the LED along the full length, giving an even, bright line over the surface below, and the dimmable settings let it shift from working light to evening mood.
