Should the wood be kept away from heat or humidity?Like any wood product, it is best kept away from steam and direct heat, so avoid hanging it directly above a hob or in a humid room.
Can the wood be oiled or polished?Avoid applying oils or spray polish, which can seep into the LED slots and change the finish. Dusting with a dry cloth is enough.
Does it suit a room with wooden furniture?Yes, the wood bar ties in with dining tables, chairs and shelving in similar tones, as the image shows, creating a warm, cohesive scheme.
Can it be dimmed low for dinner?Yes, it is three-in-one dimmable, so you can reduce the brightness and choose a warmer setting for evening meals.

A slim bar of warm wood hangs over the table in The Beam, a light slot running along its top so it reads like a floating timber beam. It suits a Dining Area, a Living Room, a Drawing Room, an Office and Hotels.
Wood and aluminium form the bar, with a black ceiling rail above. It is 1190mm long, 50mm wide and 1200mm in overall height, and its in-built LED is rated 46W x2 plus 20W with three-in-one dimmable settings.
Switched on, light washes downward onto the table and upward from the slot along the top, so the wood grain is framed by warm light and the ceiling gets a gentle lift.
