Does it need a reinforced ceiling fixing?Weight is not listed here, so ask your retailer for it before installation. With twenty-four glass shades, the fitting should hang from a secure, load-rated ceiling point.
Is it hard to clean with so many shades?It takes a little time rather than effort: work around the sphere one shade at a time with a damp cloth. A quick monthly dust means deeper cleans are rarely needed.
Does it suit a modern or a classic room?The starburst shape leans mid-century modern, while the gold and lily-like glass add a gentler, classic touch. That balance lets it sit in contemporary bedrooms as easily as in formal dining rooms.

Flared white glass shades, each shaped like a calla lily, radiate from a gold centre in The Calla Burst. It makes a bright focal point in the Bed Room, Dining Area and Drawing Room, as well as the Living Room and Hotels.
The hub, arms, rod and canopy are metal in a gold finish, and the twenty-four shades are white glass. The whole sphere measures 620mm across, with an overall height of 1200mm, and each shade houses one G9 lamp.
Lit, twenty-four points of light fill the sphere, and the white glass diffuses each one so the burst reads as a single luminous globe with a warm gold heart.
