Does it need a long ceiling rail?It hangs from a rectangular ceiling rail on two rods, as pictured, which spreads the fixing and keeps the bar level over the table.
Can the cylinders be cleaned in place?Yes, a damp cloth wrapped around each cylinder cleans it without removal. Dry each one straight away to avoid streaks.
Is it a good choice for a restaurant?Yes, the row of candle-like lights recreates a candlelit table setting, which suits restaurants and hotel dining rooms.
Does it give a candle-like tone?At 3000K, it gives a warm white close to incandescent light. It is brighter and steadier than real candles but keeps a similar mood.

Seven slender glass cylinders stand upright along a black bar in The Candela, like a row of candles on a long table. It suits a Dining Area, a Kitchen island, an Office desk, Restaurants and Hotels.
Iron and aluminium form the bar, rods and ceiling rail in pearl black, holding clear glass cylinders with acrylic inserts. The fitting is 980mm long, 135mm in fitted height and 1300mm overall, with in-built LED rated 25W at 3000K.
Each cylinder lights from within like a candle flame, sending warm white light up and down, turning the bar into a row of small beacons along the table.
