Chrysanthemum is named for its amber cut-glass shade, whose pointed petals open outward in layers like the bloom of the flower. Sitting beneath a white ribbed body and a petal-edged canopy, it suits breakfast rooms, country kitchens, cottage dining rooms and bedrooms.
The canopy and the ribbed oval body are white ceramic, joined to the shade by a patterned gold-finish collar. The amber shade is cut glass, faceted into overlapping pointed petals, and an inner fluted glass cylinder hangs within it to enclose one E14 bulb, not included.
Light passes through the fluted cylinder and then through the faceted amber petals, spreading a soft glow with a fine sparkle at each cut edge. Over a round breakfast table beside a window, it reads as the room's single warm focal point.
