Should it be fitted above a bedside table?Yes, but allow room for the rod that extends below the plate so it clears the lamp, books or clock on the table beneath.
Will the pattern fade?Keep it out of strong direct sunlight to protect the pattern, and dust it with a dry cloth rather than wiping with liquids.
Does it suit a romantic bedroom?Yes, the lace-like pattern and brass details suit bedrooms with floral fabrics, pale colours and vintage furniture.
Does the pattern show when switched off?Yes, it is visible in daylight, but it becomes more pronounced when lit from inside.

A tapered shade printed with a lace-like floral pattern crowns The Lace, carried on a long brass rod that runs past its round wall plate. It suits a Bed Room, a Living Room, a Drawing Room, a Staircase and Hotels.

Built in metal and glass, the lamp pairs an antique brass rod and wall plate with a pale patterned shade trimmed in brass. It stands 500mm high and 240mm wide, with one E27 holder.

Lit, the pattern shows up across the shade like fine lacework, and light falls from the open base onto the wall around the rod.
