Should it be mounted upright?Yes, it is designed to hang vertically, as shown, so the scales overlap correctly and the light washes up and down the wall.
How do I clean between the scales?A small brush lifts dust from the overlaps before you wipe; work downward so dust falls away from cleaned areas.
Does it suit a narrow hallway?Yes, at 145mm wide it fits slim wall sections in hallways and beside doors, adding sparkle without projecting far.
Why does the crystal look gold when lit?The gold finish of the frame behind the crystal reflects through it, giving the light a warm golden tone.
Did You Know Fact About The CategoryPinecones open and close with the weather: in dry air their scales open to release seeds, and in damp air they close. The movement works even on cones that have fallen from the tree, because it is driven by how the scale tissues absorb moisture.

Overlapping crystal scales wrap a tall, slender column in The Pinecone, glowing gold from within like a cone lit by the sun. It suits a Staircase, a Drawing Room, a Living Room, a Bed Room and Hotels corridors.
A gold finished metal frame carries the crystal scales in layered rows. It measures 145mm across and 580mm in fitted height, a slim, tall format for narrow walls.
Once lit, the crystal scales take on a warm gold tone and throw pale light up and down the wall on either side.
