Will it swap onto my current wall point?Yes, if the existing wall point sits at a suitable height, it can usually be swapped in directly. The rod hangs below the plate, so check the space under it first.
Will the shade discolour over time?Any pale shade can yellow slightly near a hot bulb, so an LED E27 bulb, which runs cooler, helps keep it fresh. Regular dusting stops grime settling into the surface.
Does it suit a minimalist interior?Yes, the plain taper and single straight rod keep the outline simple, so it sits comfortably in pared-back rooms. Against a white or concrete-effect wall, the brass line becomes the main accent.

A straight brass rod drops well below the wall plate like a builder's plumb line, holding a clean tapered shade above. The Plumb Line brings quiet order to a Dining Area wall, a Bed Room, an Office, a Drawing Room or Hotels.
Metal and glass make up the build: an antique brass rod and round plate carry a pale shade with a smooth, straight-sided taper. Height is 500mm and width 240mm, and a single E27 holder sits under the shade.
Turned on, it throws a crisp fan of light down the wall and a gentler one onto the ceiling, and the rod reads as a thin gold line through the lit area.
