Does it need a large ceiling canopy?It hangs from a compact round canopy, as pictured, so it fits most standard ceiling points without covering a large area.
Does smoke glass show dust more than clear glass?Tinted glass can show dust and fingerprints in raking light, so a monthly wipe keeps the shades looking even.
Will a dark finish make the room feel heavy?The ring is slim and the smoked glass is translucent, so it adds contrast without visual weight. It suits rooms with dark accents, leather or walnut furniture.
Does the smoked glass dim the light?The tint reduces glare and gives a moodier tone, but the cones open downward, so direct light still reaches the table.

Ten small cones of smoked glass hang beneath a slim black ring in The Smoke Ring, a modern take on the candle wheel. It suits a Dining Area, a Living Room, a Drawing Room, an Office reception and Restaurants.
The ring and suspension are iron and aluminium in a pearl black finish, with smoke glass shades beneath. It measures 730mm across and 1200mm in overall height, and its in-built LED is rated 27W at 3000K.
When lit, each smoked cone casts a warm pool downward while the tinted glass gives a muted amber-grey sparkle around the ring.
