Does the ceiling plate need to line up with the table?Yes, the long ceiling plate should run parallel to the table so the oval sits directly above it. Mark the centre line of the table before fixing the plate.
Does the ridged acrylic scratch easily?Acrylic is softer than glass, so avoid rough cloths and grit. A clean microfibre cloth keeps the ridges clear without marking them.
Is the oval shape suited to a rectangular table?Yes, its 1000mm by 260mm outline echoes a rectangular or oval table, giving a better fit than a round chandelier.
Is the light glare-free?The ridged acrylic spreads the LED evenly, so you see a band of light rather than individual points, which is comfortable to sit under for long meals.
Did You Know Fact About The CategoryIn geometry, a stadium is a rectangle with a semicircle on each end, the shape of an athletics track. The name traces back to the ancient Greek stadion, a unit of length of roughly 180 to 190 metres and the footrace run over that distance at the ancient Olympic Games.

Two straight sides joined by rounded ends form the elongated oval of The Stadium, a textured acrylic loop banded in gold. It suits a Dining Area, a Living Room, an Office boardroom, a Drawing Room or Hotels.
Gold finished metal rings run along the loop, supporting a band of ridged acrylic, and four wires suspend it from a long ceiling plate. It measures 1000mm by 260mm with an in-built LED.
When on, the acrylic band lights all the way round the loop, framing the table below with a ring of even light and gold highlights.
