Will a black pendant disappear against a dark ceiling?The black body blends in, so the bronze shade and clear collars carry the outline. Against pale walls the full turned profile stands out.
Can I hang two Black Sceptres together?Yes. A pair at staggered heights suits a stairwell or either side of a bed. Allow about 300mm between them so the shades never touch.

Black Sceptre rises in a column of turned black sections and ends in a glass drop, the outline of a ceremonial staff held point down. This black pendant light suits a staircase void, a dark-walled dining room, a hotel bar or a bedside.
Matt black metal forms each turned section, separated by clear faceted glass collars. Halfway down sits a bronze glass shade, fluted above and below a band of beaded texture. This bronze glass pendant measures 160mm across and 970mm in fitted height.
Two built-in 7W LEDs light it from within, and the bronze glass gives the output a coppery cast against the black body. As an LED pendant light it suits low, moody settings such as a bar counter or a stair lit for the evening.
