Description

The Brushed Rotunda takes its name from the circular drum body and the wide conical roof that sits above it, both finished in a brushed antique bronze with visible grain texture running across every metal surface. Low and wide in proportion rather than tall, it is designed to sit atop gate pillars, garden boundary walls, terrace posts, and hotel entrance columns.

The drum body is wrapped in a continuous band of grid-framed rectangular opal glass panels, each panel set within a raised bronze border that forms a repeating fretwork pattern around the full circumference. The conical roof overhangs the drum body significantly, with its underside close to the glass panel tops. A shallow circular base disc with visible fixing points anchors the fitting to the pillar surface below.

The opal glass panels diffuse light evenly in all directions around the full 360-degree circumference, producing a soft, contained warm glow at pillar height. As a stand light equivalent for pillar-top use, it suits garden boundary walls and gated entry columns where consistent omnidirectional light at a low, architectural level is required.
