Description

The Flame Shaft takes its name from the dense wave-cut pattern covering all four faces of its inner square column, which, when lit, produces a broken amber and yellow glow that reads unmistakably as moving flame. Tall and upright in proportion, it suits outdoor garden pathways, terrace settings, hotel courtyards, and office exteriors.

The outer frame is constructed from dark bronze-finished metal, forming a clean rectangular cage with four vertical corner posts rising from a stepped square base plinth to a flat capped top. The inner column sits centered within this frame, its four patterned faces entirely independent of the outer structure, creating a visible air gap between the two layers on all sides.

The wave-cut pattern fractures light into irregular amber fragments that spill through the outer frame and wash the surrounding ground and walls in warm, textured light. As a stand light for outdoor use, it performs with particular character along garden perimeter paths and hotel forecourt approaches where a sustained flame-like presence at low height is required.
