The Nut Warden takes its name from the squirrel's two-pawed grip on a dark acorn, a posture of deliberate, proprietary hold that defines the figurative character of this outdoor room light lamp. The squirrel stands upright with its oversized tail sweeping back and upward behind the body, suited to garden beds, terrace borders, gravel courtyards, and tree-base placements.
The body is cast in fiber with orange-brown surface colouring across the head, back, and tail, transitioning to a lighter cream tone on the chest and inner tail. The tail is modelled with deep linear striations that follow the sweep of the form, and the acorn is rendered in dark brown with visible surface texture. Facial features include dark eyes and a rounded muzzle with naturalistic proportion.
Light diffuses through the full fiber body and tail from within, producing a warm amber glow that extends into the striated tail structure and illuminates the surrounding ground. As a stand light placed at a tree base or along a gravel path, the upward tail silhouette creates a distinctive lit form that reads clearly against dark garden backgrounds after dusk.
