Is the glass top toughened?The glass specification is not stated, so confirm it with your retailer before placing heavy or hot items on it.
How do I clean between the rods?A narrow brush or a cloth folded over a ruler reaches between the rods. Dust them every couple of weeks to keep the finish even.
Does it suit a reading nook?Yes, the arm reaches over a chair while the table holds a book or cup, making a compact reading corner in one piece.
Is the dome shade glare-free?The metal dome hides the bulb from most angles, so light is directed downward with little glare at seated eye level.

A ring of slim vertical rods forms the cage-like side table of Birdcage, above which a gooseneck arm carries a dome shade. It suits a Living Room chair, a Bed Room, a Drawing Room, an Office and Hotels.
The rods, arm and dome are metal in an antique bronze finish, and the table top and lower shelf are glass. It stands 1650mm high and 350mm wide, taking one E27 bulb in the dome.
The dome sends a directed pool of light over the seat beside it, and the glass table top catches the reflection, giving the lamp a subtle glint.
