Description

The Starburst Post takes its name from the iron spine burst at its centre, a dense radial array of brass-finished rods fanning outward from a central node like a solar corona caught mid-expansion. In a study, bedroom, hotel room, or office, this lamp functions as both light source and sculptural object, its silhouette holding visual interest whether lit or unlit.

The iron spines carry a warm brass finish that responds to both natural and artificial light, each rod catching illumination independently along its length and producing a layered shimmer across the full burst. The black marble base grounds this energy with mineral weight and a cool, flat surface that anchors the composition without competing with the gold above. The cloth shade's lower inner rim carries a brass band that reflects warmth back downward into the room.

Through the cloth shade, light disperses into an even, diffused glow suited to bedside reading, desk tasks, hotel surface lighting, and office ambient fill. The brass inner band on the shade redirects a secondary warm reflection downward, reinforcing the lamp's gold tonal register across the immediate surface below.
