Is it stable on a desk? The round base and counterweight keep it balanced; place it on a flat, firm surface away from the desk edge.
Can the dome sit close to a laptop?Yes, the arm swings to place the dome beside or above a laptop, but keep it slightly away from the screen to avoid reflections.
Does it match the floor lamp version?Yes, it shares its counterweighted arm and dome with a matching floor lamp in the collection, so the pair suits a study or reading room.
Is the light good for close work?Yes, the dome gives focused light for writing, drawing or reading. A neutral white bulb suits detailed work, a warm one suits evenings.
Did You Know Fact About The CategoryArchimedes, the Greek mathematician, explained the law of the lever in the 3rd century BC and is credited with saying, 'Give me a place to stand and I will move the Earth.' The fixed point on which a lever turns is called the fulcrum.

A statement piece for contemporary and traditional rooms alike, built from materials chosen to last.
A pivoting arm balanced by a counterweight carries a small dome shade on Fulcrum, a desk lamp with the look of a precision instrument. It suits an Office desk, a Bed Room, a Living Room, a Drawing Room and Hotels.
Every part is metal in a bronze finish, from the stepped foot and upright column to the balance arm. The lamp stands 600mm high, with one E27 bulb housed in its dome.
The dome directs light down onto the desk or page, and moving the arm shifts that pool exactly where it is needed.
